GoDaddy, Citrix and OSX 10.6

Posted by: admin In: Certificates, CA's etc|Citrix|MAC OSX 10.6

Question :

Why can’t I start my citrix app through an SSL relay such as Securegateway, SSLRelay or AccessGateway when using osx?

Awnser:

Simply because Godaddy’s ROOT ca isn’t included in the trusted CA’s of the Citrix ICA client for OSX. To solve this  simply download the ROOT Ca from Godaddy.

How can I solve it then ?

Start with browsing to the webpage. Click on the padlock icon in your firefox.

Check out the CA chain and export both the Go Daddy Class 2 CA and Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority.

Export both certificates (in DER format) and save them under :

/Library/Application Support/Citrix/keystore/cacerts

Note. keystore/cacerts doesn’t exists by default so you have to create them yourself..
